MEET DR. ZGIA

I've Been Where You Are. That's Exactly Why I Do This.

12 years of practice. 20 years of marriage. Two boys. A story that started with a fall off a counter at age 1 — and led to changing the trajectory of thousands of families.

Olive Me Chiropractic opened in 2015 in Arden Hills. After 7 years there, the clinic outgrew its space and made the move to Vadnais Heights — where we're now proud to be starting our 11th year serving Twin Cities families.

HAVE QUESTIONS?

Frequently Asked Questions

We have answers. No pressure, no pitch — just clarity.

How is neurological chiropractic different from regular chiropractic?

Regular chiropractic focuses primarily on spinal alignment and pain relief. Neurological chiropractic focuses on the nervous system — measuring it objectively with the INSiGHT scan and addressing the neurological interference patterns driving symptoms. The results go far beyond pain relief.

Is the INSiGHT scan safe for kids?

Completely. No radiation, no needles, no discomfort. It's the same technology used in pediatric chiropractic offices worldwide. Kids find it fascinating.

How long does it take to see results?

Depends on how long the nervous system has been under stress. Some patients notice changes within the first few visits. We rescan regularly so you can see objective progress — not just feel it.

Do I need to be in pain to benefit from neurological care?

No. Many of our patients come in for optimization — not pain. They want their brain and body functioning at full capacity. The scan often reveals interference patterns they didn't know were there.

Ready to See What Your Nervous System Is Actually Doing?

Book your first visit and let's scan your nervous system — give you an objective picture of what's happening underneath — and build a care plan around what we actually find.

How is your care different from traditional chiropractic?

What is tonal chiropractic and how is it different?

Most people think chiropractic means someone cracking your back. Tonal chiropractic is completely different. Instead of forcing bones to move, we work directly with your nervous system — the system that actually controls your muscles and bones. We use gentle, specific input to help your nervous system release stored tension and self-regulate. The changes often happen between visits as your body continues unwinding. It's subtle, precise, and incredibly effective.

What is INSiGHT CoreScore scanning?

It's a non-invasive neurological assessment that measures how your nervous system is functioning. It includes HRV (heart rate variability), EMG (muscle tension along the spine), and thermal scans. Together they give us a color-coded map of exactly where stress is stored in your nervous system — before we ever touch you. It's painless, takes about 10 minutes, and gives us objective data most clinics never collect.

Is chiropractic care safe for babies and toddlers?

Yes — and it's one of the most impactful times to get care. Birth is one of the most physically stressful events a human body goes through. Tonal adjustments for infants use no more pressure than you'd use to test the ripeness of a tomato. Gentle, specific, and incredibly safe. Many parents bring their newborns in within days of birth.

How long will it take to see results?

Every nervous system is different. Some patients notice changes after the first visit. Others take a few weeks. What we know is this — the longer stress has been stored in the nervous system, the more time it takes to unwind. We set clear expectations at your Report of Findings so you know exactly what to expect and when.

What should I bring/wear?

Comfortable clothing you can move in. No special prep needed. We do the rest.

ABOUT OUR CARE

How do I know if chiropractic care is right for my child?

If your child is struggling with chronic illness, sleep issues, focus problems, anxiety, sensory challenges, or behavioral issues — and you've tried everything else without lasting results — their nervous system is likely involved. We run a non-invasive neurological scan on every new patient that shows us exactly what's happening. No guessing. You'll have a clear picture before we ever recommend care.

What happens on the first visit?

Your first visit is all about understanding your story and getting objective data. We do a full consultation, a range of motion exam, and INSiGHT CoreScore neurological scans. Then we schedule a Report of Findings — a separate appointment where we walk you through everything we found and present a care plan built specifically around your results. Nobody leaves confused.

Do I need a referral to come in?

No referral needed. You can book directly online or call us at 651-340-3013. We welcome walk-ins but appointments are preferred so we can give you our full attention.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Just yourself and your completed intake paperwork — which you can fill out online before you arrive. If you have previous imaging like X-rays or MRIs bring those along. They give us helpful context.

Can chiropractic help with ADHD and sensory processing?

We don't diagnose or treat ADHD or sensory processing disorder. What we do is assess and restore nervous system function. When a dysregulated nervous system starts to regulate — focus improves, sensory overwhelm decreases, behavior stabilizes, sleep gets better. Parents tell us this consistently. We let the results speak.

KIDS & FAMILIES

My pediatrician says my child is fine. Why would I bring them to a chiropractor?

Pediatricians are incredible at identifying disease. They're not trained to assess nervous system function. Two completely different things. Your child can pass every pediatric exam and still have a nervous system stuck in fight-or-flight. That's what we assess — and that's what drives the symptoms most parents are desperate to understand.

My child is scared of doctors. Will this be traumatic for them?

We hear this all the time — and we're really good at it. Our adjustments are gentle and our team is warm, patient, and kid-focused. Most kids who come in terrified leave asking when they get to come back. We go at their pace, always.

Can the whole family get care together?

Absolutely — and we love it. We treat newborns through grandparents. Many of our best outcomes come from families who get care together because healing is contagious. When Mom's nervous system regulates, the whole household feels it.

Still Have Questions?

We'd rather answer them in person. Book your first visit and let's talk.
