4. SMS & Text Message Consent Policy

By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box on any Olive Me Chiropractic form, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Olive Me Chiropractic at the phone number provided, including messages sent via automated systems. Messages may include:

Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies based on your care status and preferences. We typically send 1-4 messages per month for marketing and wellness content. Appointment-related messages will be sent as needed around your scheduled visits.

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Olive Me Chiropractic does not charge for text messages.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by:

Replying STOP to any text message you receive from us

Texting HELP for assistance information

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. You will not receive further marketing texts unless you opt back in. Note: Opting out of marketing texts does not affect appointment-specific communications required for your care, unless you request that separately.

No PHI in Text Messages

Olive Me Chiropractic does not send Protected Health Information (PHI) via standard SMS text messages. Text messages are limited to scheduling, reminders, general wellness content, and administrative communications. Clinical health information is communicated through HIPAA-secure channels only.

5. Your HIPAA Rights

As a patient of Olive Me Chiropractic, you have the following rights regarding your health information:

Right to Amend

Olive Me Chiropractic takes the security of your health information seriously. We implement physical, administrative, and technical safeguards including:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health information to any third party for their own marketing purposes.

8. Website Cookies & Tracking

Our website (olivemechiro.com) uses cookies and tracking technologies to improve your experience and help us understand how visitors use our site. These may include:

Meta Pixel for advertising — tracks visits and conversions from Facebook/Instagram ads

Olive Me Chiropractic frequently provides care to children. When a minor patient receives care, all health information is protected under HIPAA.
