Brain-based chiropractic care goes beyond the spine. We work with the nervous system that controls every function in your body — and optimize it from the inside out.
Neurological chiropractic is grounded in two key principles of neuroscience:
Neuroplasticity — the brain's ability to reorganize itself, form new connections, and adapt to new inputs. Every precise chiropractic adjustment sends a burst of neurological input to the brain — stimulating the prefrontal cortex, the cerebellum, and the brainstem in ways that promote higher-level function and better self-regulation.
The spine-brain connection — approximately 90% of the brain's stimulation and nutrition comes from movement of the spine. When spinal motion is restricted — by injury, tension, or compensation patterns — the brain is literally being deprived of the input it needs to function optimally.
This is why chiropractic patients consistently report improvements in things that seem unrelated to the spine — sleep, mood, focus, digestion, immune function, energy. The spine and the brain are not separate systems. They are one system.
When the spine moves better — the brain works better. That's not philosophy. That's neuroscience.
We use the term Perfect Storm to describe the accumulation of stress that pushes the nervous system past its capacity to adapt.
Physical stress — birth trauma, falls, accidents, sports injuries, repetitive postures, and the cumulative load of gravity on a spine that isn't moving properly.
Emotional stress — chronic anxiety, unprocessed trauma, relationship stress, grief, and the relentless low-grade pressure of modern life. Stress doesn't stay in the mind — it lands in the body and stays there.
Chemical stress — processed food, environmental toxins, medications, and anything the body has to process that it wasn't designed for.
When these three stressors accumulate faster than the nervous system can adapt — the result is a brain-body system running below its potential. Often far below.
The INSiGHT scan shows us exactly what the storm has done to your nervous system. Then we get to work unwinding it.
How is neurological chiropractic different from regular chiropractic?
Regular chiropractic focuses primarily on spinal alignment and pain relief. Neurological chiropractic focuses on the nervous system — measuring it objectively with the INSiGHT scan and addressing the neurological interference patterns driving symptoms. The results go far beyond pain relief.
Is the INSiGHT scan safe for kids?
Completely. No radiation, no needles, no discomfort. It's the same technology used in pediatric chiropractic offices worldwide. Kids find it fascinating.
How long does it take to see results?
Depends on how long the nervous system has been under stress. Some patients notice changes within the first few visits. We rescan regularly so you can see objective progress — not just feel it.
Do I need to be in pain to benefit from neurological care?
No. Many of our patients come in for optimization — not pain. They want their brain and body functioning at full capacity. The scan often reveals interference patterns they didn't know were there.
